Nurulize Chosen as one of five finalists for the 2017 Innov8: V-commerce Competition

We’re thrilled to share the news that Walmart tech incubator Store No 8 and Arianna Huffington’s Thrive Global have announced Nurulize as one of the five selected finalists in their Innov8: V-Commerce competition.

The competition invited companies and individuals that are developing disruptive technologies and experiences to present their technology as solutions that could help shape the future of retail in VR. There were over 200 entries.

Along with just 4 other finalists, Nurulize has been selected to participate in curating interactive and immersive experiences for an exclusive gala event providing the opportunity to demonstrate an exciting V-Commerce application utilizing Atom View™ technology to many of today’s most exciting brands and influencers including: General Catalyst, HTC VIVE™, Silicon Valley Bank, NEA, and Norwest Venture Partners.

The prospect of working in the Store No 8 incubator as part of the largest retailer in the world is a really exciting opportunity for us as this could help secure capital for development, provide training, exposure and help us to help other disruptive technology developers in the future as a founding member of the Store No 8 V-Commerce committee.
